The Lincoln
Charter Township Police Department Currently Provides services for a
population of nearly 18,000 residents and patrols 28 square miles,
handling over 6,000 calls for service each year, and provides
Community Services such as Child Watch, Neighborhood Watch, and
Business Watch.
The Lincoln Charter
Township Police Department is a full service department that
provides the highest quality of Police Services available. All
our cars are equipped with a electronic defibrillators.
Lincoln Township
is a rapid growing community, situated on
the scenic sunset coast in Southwestern Michigan only 90
miles from Chicago. Lincoln Township is home to the Lakeshore
Lancers, a Division 2 School with many state
championships to it's name. There are a variety of parks including
the Grand Mere State Park, 5 Township Parks, Lakeshore Youth
Baseball/Softball complex and the Lakeshore Youth Soccer
Program.
Since the 1960's, the Township has become a prized
residential area as well as providing a welcoming environment to
industry, and a resort for tourists. Lincoln Township has
benefited from a historically well-organized planning commission,
and now enjoys a healthy mix of residents and commercial/industrial
entrepreneurs.
